How it works
Rules
openrank.bid is a public ranking of open-source projects sorted purely by bid amount. There is no algorithm, no editorial selection, and no hidden ranking factors. Whoever has paid the most sits at the top.
Ranking rules
- Bids are in whole US dollars (minimum $1).
- A lower bid still places you on the ranking at the position your amount qualifies for.
- When two projects have the same bid, the one that arrived first stays higher.
- To raise your existing listing, submit the same repository or URL again. You only pay the difference.
- Tracking parameters are removed automatically. Shortened links are resolved or rejected.
What belongs here
- Public open-source repositories (GitHub preferred)
- Websites of open-source tools and libraries
- Maintainer profiles on X
What does not belong
- Proprietary or closed-source software
- Invite or chat links
- Adult content
- Affiliate or tracking-heavy URLs
After payment
- Your project appears on the ranking immediately.
- Visitors click straight through to your repository or site.
- All bids are final.
