Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
1. The service
openrank.bid (“the service”) is a public directory where anyone may list a website or product for free. Paid featured placements sit above the free directory and are ordered by the amount committed to each placement. The service is operated on a best-effort basis and is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
2. Your listings
You may submit only URLs you have the right to promote. You are responsible for the content of the sites you list. We may edit, recategorize, or remove any listing that violates our rules, is spam, misleading, illegal, or harmful, without notice and without refund of any fees paid.
3. Featured placements and payments
A featured placement pins your listing above the free directory. You choose the amount; the highest amount holds the highest position, and an earlier placement stays above a later one at the same amount. Another listing can take a higher position by committing a larger amount, and you can move your own listing up by entering the same URL with a higher amount. You are only charged the difference.
Payments are one-time and processed by our payment provider (Dodo Payments); we never receive or store your card details. All payments are final. Because a featured placement immediately takes a public position, refunds are not offered once payment is confirmed. A featured placement confers no ownership or editorial control over the service, and amounts are never displayed publicly.
4. Backlinks and badges
Listings normally include a link to the submitted site. Featured placements are rendered as dofollow. Free listings are rendered as nofollow unless our badge and a link back to openrank.bid are detected on the listed site, in which case the link becomes dofollow. Backlink placement, follow status, and ranking are provided at our discretion and may change at any time. No specific search-engine outcome is promised or implied.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t abuse the service. That includes submitting sites you don’t control, automated or fraudulent payments, attempts to game placement amounts, scraping the directory at scale, or using it to promote spam, scams, or illegal content. We may remove listings and refuse service for violations.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of openrank.bid is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of traffic, rankings, or data. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
